Shiver Me Timbers and yo-ho-ho! It’s a pirate birthday party for your little buccaneer and 20 of his or her feistiest friends on Chattanooga's Fat Cat Ferry! Guests board at Coolidge Park, and sail on the vintage ferry to deserted McClellan Island where they will go on a scavenger hunt for Pirate Booty stashed in a real treasure chest. They’ll receive pirate patches, a treasure map where “X” marks the spot, and a goodie bag. After playing pirate games (including “walk the plank” and “Pin-the-Parrot-on-the-Pirate”), and enjoying some sassy grog, they'll hoist the “Jolly Roger” and board the boat, where they will enjoy the riverfront on their way back to Coolidge Park for birthday cake. Party Package includes: A down-loadable invitation, boat transportation for 20 children and their parent or guardian, 20 treasure maps, 20 eye patches, 20 goodie bags, pirate booty, and pirate grog. Birthday cake must be provided by parent. (Party must be scheduled May through October between 2 and 5 p.m.; party space is reserved on the bow of the boat, weather permitting, or on the first floor if weather is inclement.)

A Fairy Adventure
on
Magical Maclellan Island

Did you know that if there’s a ring around the moon, the fairies are dancing? A flock of butterflies means fairies are nearby? A knot in a tree trunk could be the entrance to her secret home? This enchanting birthday-fairy adventure begins at the Coolidge Park dock where you’ll board the Fat Cat Ferry. The vintage boat sails across the river to Maclellan Island where your little pixie and 20 of her spritely friends will embark on a magical romp through the woods in search of fairies and wood nymphs that live in trees, take naps in flower blossoms, and flit through the breeze in search of the perfect toadstool! They’ll receive fairy wings, a fairy identification card, and a goodie bag that includes fairy dust, face glitter, a candy necklace and a star lollypop. The birthday girl will wear her very own flower tiara, and all will enjoy a personalized fairy story as they sip butterfly punch in the secret fairy clearing. Birthday cake to be provided by parent.
