Here's a jolly way to enjoy Chattanooga's Grand Illumination. On Friday, November 27th, ride the "Merry" Fat Cat Ferry in the Boat Parade, boarding from the Delta Queen Hotel at Coolidge Park Landing between 5 and 6 p.m. Boat departs for parade at 6 p.m. Hot chocolate and other beverages will be available to all. Admission is $10 per person, and the trip is offered to the general public on a first come, first serve basis. After the parade, the Fat Cat will dock at City Pier/Ross's Landing for the Grand Illumination and fireworks display before heading back to the Delta Queen. Holiday entertainment will be provided by Banjo Bob Edwards. Late comers may choose to watch the parade from the Texas Lounge and the decks of the legendary Delta Queen. Valet Parking is available. fun filled boat ride and all day pass. $6 Adults and $4 Kids (12 and under)
Departures from City Pier: head down stream past the Southern Belle Riverboat, over to North shore industrial, and back toward The Legendary Delta Queen Hotel now docked at Coolidge Park - arriving at 20 minutes after the hour
Departures from Coolidge Park: begin the tour with a closup water view of TheLegendary Delta Queen Hotel, ride around Mac Island, below the bluffs and then passage back to City Pier at 10 ti the hour.
